This area also shows the effects of the drought. There is an obvious decreasein the surface area of the lakes which is manifest by an increase in brightnessand greenness due to the exposed lake bed that has become vegetated.The small patches of orange are probably due to changes in land use or timberharvesting activities in this forested area.
