Problem with TerrainBase
The area between 43°N and 48°N latitude and 59°W and 67°W longitude
is shown in these sections extracted from ETOPO5 and
TerrainBase. The discrepancy in the elevations near
Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the glitches just offshore warranted
some effort to patch TerrainBase using bathymetry data from ETOPO5.
